The name of my page comes from a conversation I had with my 6 year old daughter, Caroline. She was having difficulties with a boy in her class and I told her when she was thinking of doing something he suggested, she should stop and ask, What would Mom say if I did this?
I’m a married Mom of 3, I refer to my job as a Field Researcher in Child Behavior, with a Ph.D. I’m a type 1 diabetic, living with this disease since 1996. Its a pain, but it beats having other things. I live in Missouri. I’m a University of Kansas grad, so I’m a Midwestern girl all the way. I enjoy cooking, gardening, messing in the dirt, rearranging furniture, making my children wonder about my sanity. I’m a girl scout leader, co-leader, troop organizer, room mom, chairman of various committees at my daughters’ elementary school. I also volunteer at my son’s pre-school, typically cooking with the kids. I dislike cleaning. My favorite hat is a knitted purple mohawk I got off etsy. Most people think I’ve dyed my hair. I’m not that daring.
